This Longford Community Water Management Training programme will help to deliver projects that will help to improve water quality and improve local biodiversity in the aquatic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Courses will be run with the classroom sessions online using Zoom and with outdoors group field visits to local waterbodies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-cyan-bluish-gray-background-color has-background has-large-font-size\"><strong>Timetable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-text-color\" style=\"color:#0032a3\">Two FREE courses are scheduled for N &amp; S Longford with each course taking 6 days:<br><strong>\u2013 4 days (8 evenings) of online classroom sessions (by Zoom*)<\/strong><br>Wednesday &amp; Thursday 25\/26 November &amp; Saturday 5th December 2020 &#8211; South Longford<br>Wednesdays &amp; Thursdays 2\/3 December &amp; 9\/10 December 2020 &#8211; North Longford<br><strong>\u2013 one day sampling <a href=\"http:\/\/longford.waters-project.com\/index.php\/field-visit-to-legan-and-saints-island-on-l-ree\/\">a river and lakeshore in Longford<\/a> \u2013 including biological sampling<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/longford.waters-project.com\/index.php\/field-visit-to-legan-and-saints-island-on-l-ree\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/longford.waters-project.com\/index.php\/field-visit-to-legan-and-saints-island-on-l-ree\/\">22 May 2021<\/a>)<br><strong>\u2013 a one-day Webinar day focussing on several existing community water projects around the country. (Saturday 12th December 2020.)<\/strong><br>Follow-up <a href=\"http:\/\/longford.waters-project.com\/index.php\/visits-to-newtownforbes-cloondara-ballymahon-27-may-2021\/\">project visits took place on 27 May 2021<\/a> to <a href=\"http:\/\/longford.waters-project.com\/index.php\/visits-to-newtownforbes-cloondara-ballymahon-27-may-2021\/\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"http:\/\/longford.waters-project.com\/index.php\/visits-to-newtownforbes-cloondara-ballymahon-27-may-2021\/\">Newtownforbes, Clondara and Ballymahon<\/a>  and further visits to Lanesboro\/Lough Ree, L.
